- I actually received these pearls as a birthday gift, and I can say with certainty that the set I received DOES NOT have large bumps in the pearls as a previous reviewer suggested. As a freshwater set, they do have little imperfections, but that's what makes each one unique and distinguishes it as a genuine pearl. I love this set, and would gladly recommend it.
The color and shine is very nice, and the length is perfect for most outfits. It even came with a cute little box and fabric case.
The only issue I have had is with the clasp. After a few weeks of wear the clasp started sticking in the open position. I have since had it replaced, and have had no further issues.
Overall, it's a great necklace for the price.

- These are gorgeous, heavy, solid, luminous pearls. I was really impressed when I open the box - they're a really creamy white, with a pretty silver clasp. They are substantial in size - bigger than I expected. I also like that they are each unique, with subtle ridges and bumps which - to me - enhance the pearlescent qualities of each bead.
If you're looking for a traditional, standard set of perfectly round pearls, these are not those. But if you'd like the look of pearls, with a natural, modern twist, I think these would fit the bill.

- I ordered this item during a one day deal from Amazon. But I was disappointed when I looked at the actual product after receiving it from USPS. It looks more or less like the 17" necklace sold by Bucasi for $29. All the pearls are irregular and look ugly.
